Curbed my beautiful rim and now worried about alignment

So i was driving along and this knucklehead comes out too far and makes me swerve. No i can stop thinking about my alignment. Is it me or did he come out too far?

Yes, I agree he improperly and recklessly entered your lane and caused you to swerve but it does not look like it forced you to hit the curb. It could be the camera or the limited view, but appears you may have over corrected and left your own lane. Either way, replace the wheel and get the alignment checked ASAP. A closer look shows it was not his first time failing to follow the rules of the road or control his car. M46 RGN ???

Did he come out too far? What? They didn't even stop, just flat out blew through a stop. Sucks you hit the curb. That probably could've been avoided but I'm guessing you were understandably looking in the mirror at the time.

Maybe it's just the video and that I can't tell what speed you're going (limit sign 40 so I assume under that) but you seem to have overcorrected yourself into the curb. Opposing turn lane was clear, you didn't necessarily need to turn right so far nor speed back up as you were passing him (again, assumption based on the hood movement) my final assumption is that you were looking back at the other driver, not in front of you, which is why you turned so hard to the right (head turned right) and then realized, tried to correct, but hit the curb.

So yes you damaged your own rim (insurance adjusters love finding evidence you had some blame) but also I fucking hate people that edge their front ends out unless necessary cause of visual blockage so that Civic driver is an asshat for literally pulling out into half of your lane

It's these kinda auto interactions that I can't stand - some "knucklehead" decides road rules don't matter and they get their way but everyone else is in a 10 car pile up now and the initiator of the damage skates away

I live in two places and the driving could not be more different:

this is every day, all day long here in Alamos, Sonora, Mexico, the only defense being to drive a bit slower to gain time and distance while reacting.

by contrast, I can't believe how considerate folks are in Green Valley, Arizona, USA while driving. just the occasional older person who doesn't look left.

Anyway, you have him blowing the stop sign, causing you to take what could have been dangerous evasive action. And then of course he passes you in a turning lane. A judge might even feel he fled the scene of an accident. Could be 3 counts. I'd march that right down to the police station and offer it as proof so that justice can be served to Mr. M46 RGN. The only way to curb that kind of driving behavior is to revoke a license or to make it prohibitively expensive by enforcing penalties for infractions. Do your part and submit the video to the police.

He definitely blew the stop sign. But then you wayyy overcorrected kind of in slow motion somehow. I'm not saying you're in the wrong or anything, but it seems like the curb could have easily been avoided.

LOL. Bro. Of course he pulled out too far. But is it possible you were glued to your rear view mirror cursing at him immediately after and that is why you made a right turn into the curb? There is no reason to have made the move that you did, post getting around said idiot.
