I noticed zero reception changes when the antenna was removed. Antenna delete item could give people a cleaner shark fin look. Haven’t found one that fits yet though.

That's one little change I will be making. If they made a 1" version I'd get that. I want to do a roof mounted rack and the stock one will get in the way.

Ranger stubby Jr fits just as well. Might be a few bucks cheaper?

With all the modifications people are doing/talking about on a truck that's barely out, I have come to the conclusion that the future model of not owning a vehicle but only paying to use one when necessary like Uber is not going to be viable for many current vehicle owning people.

I put one of these on my wife's 2019 Chevy Trax last year because the factory antennae was stupid long and hits the garage door frame. It works great with no problems over a year now.

I can't speak to the Maverick yet, but my previous Escape I took it off and had no issues. Then again I live in the city. Not sure if it was not impacted due to proximity

Nice to know I live in an area that most stations are 20 miles or further away.

How's the reception compared to the factory antenna?
Haven't tested it yet. I live out in the sticks (mountains) and reception is spotty at best. I have a 128gb USB drive almost full of music that I use. Still on the 3 month Sirius/XM trial also.

I ordered one of their bullet antennas on 11/09 and it's here already on 11/12!!

Still looking for a wayward Alto Blue Maverick to put it on!

I'm looking at the same rack mounting issue if I add a RTT. Im putting a rack on the bed rails but the RTT will extend over the cab and cover the antenna. Sure that will kill the reception. The placement would have been better close to the front windshield like the F150s and side fender antenna. I will try the short stubby and keep the stock one on the glove box. Easy to change anytime.
