Unless the airbags went off, or the truck took an additional hit from the side we can't see that's a cheap fix for insurance.

Trailer hitch? Sort of looks reminiscent of such. The lamp may be cracked judging by the location of the hit. Fender gap at hood looks off some and I can see the bumper cover is flexed out near the fender mount area. Looks like an easy $3-5k fix. Gravy job.

I’m guessing you’re kidding about being totaled because parts are hard to get and body shops take forever. This sucks because you have to look at it till it’s fixed and get a loaner while it’s being repaired. Insurance needs 80% of value of vehicle damage to total it. Hopefully it can be fixed quick and you won’t even notice it. Good thing is it missed those expensive headlights.

$550 for upper bumper cover , $500 for paint match , $500 for labor ,as long as headlight mounts or grill pieces not broken .(1500 more if that)
And %20-25 on top , low end $1600-1800
Or patch what you got ( plastic weld , Bondo with flex)quick match on car $ $900-1100.
