Having driven a 2022 and a 2025, I'd like to see the return of everything de-contented over the last 4 years.

-Heated windshield wiper parks
-power passenger seat
-standard wireless phone charger
-wired entry keypad
-ece

The lariat now starts at $40k, none of the de contenting has ever resulted in lower prices. It's all far margins. Especially on the Lariat.

Other nice to haves:

Auto up down on windows with keyfob. The lariat has the hardware to do it and it can be enable din Forscan. Just do it already! Other manufacturers do this!

Auto up down on all windows: If a basic $20k Jetta has this feature, there is no reason Ford should be locking it to a $40k+ trim.

10 way seat: The Escape has it. Its the same platform. Just make it an available option

The infotainment: the maverick's infotainment is SO barebones. The escape has more animations, a better look, and tons more options. The 22-24 maverick had the same. The 25+ feels like its still in beta.

Option for real buttons: Sync 4 can do it. The ranger and F-150 both offer it. Maverick should have it. There's plenty of room.

Sadly none of this will occur until someone wakes up and decides to make a maverick competitor.

As long as you're not driving around with the silly Fog lights on when it isn't foggy.
I cannot imagine needing fog lights on my Mav with its oh so wonderfully bright perfectly flat patterned beams.
Could it be a Lariat thing ? Different lights ?

Correction...none of the Maverick pickups had/have a powered passenger seat.

The bed works great for 75% of what I need a truck for!

Me too, because I rarely haul big stuff anymore. And I have my Transit(not Connect) if I do need to haul anything bigger than groceries. My reasons for having a Mav are the low comparative price, and the 45mpg. It's nice to have a token pickup bed, too.

Most of these you can add yourself. Remember the Maverick was to cut cost, and be a blank slate you can customize yourself.
Has anyone done the 360 camera's on the Maverick. I know a few have done it on the F150..

If I owned a '25 or '26, I would be pleading for the return of the '22-'24 gauge cluster with analog(ish) gauges, at least for the Ecoboost models.

Not that it should make a bit of difference to you, but I only use them in fog and inclement weather. Thanks so much for the guidance on the "silly fog lights".

I also use them with the BCM's cornering lamp functionality, which works great.
Well, you're in the minority. Most use them all the time as some kind of fashion statement and I live in a hilly area where they blind the oncoming traffic.

Full coverage sun visors with pull out sunshade to cover the gap by the rearview mirror, & cornering lamps, my 90's cars had both. I see many people suggest a rear window defogger/defroster, I have had my Maverick for 4 years now & never once did the rear window fog up.

Isn't that the truth I have a 2025 with the Ecoboost and hate the gauge cluster!! I even started a thread on here about swapping the 22-24 gauge cluster into the 25-26 Maverick with 2.0 EB engine!!

It really is such a depressing downgrade. And meanwhile the Ford escape, which is in the same ballpark price wise, has a far nicer display with more customization. There really is no excuse for the Maverick to look so bad. They're all the same sync 4 system underneath.

True, I confused power with 6 way adjustable.

Can auto makers stop treating passengers like garbage? My dad has a bad back and needs lumbar to be comfortable, I shouldn't have to spend upwards of $80k on a lexus or Lincoln to get a decent passenger seat.

Wait, what? The Maverick doesn't have footwell vents?
I believe he's talking about the kickpanel vent doors that bring in fresh air direct from the cowl.
