Many on here are laughing, but I bet Ford would sell a hell of a lot of these. (If it was not a 4/1 joke)

I will admit the one reason I looked at the Gladiator was that I could take the top down.

Having owned a Gladiator, technically the top comes off, in 3 pieces, and the back portion is a 2 person job. It's better as a concept than in reality. The reason I got the Gladiator was because I owned a Miata and a Sporttrac, both old and costly to maintain, and the wife at the time said "we have a convertible and a truck, why don't we sell both and get a convertible truck?". Perfect idea right?

Over this two-door mockup, I’d rather go with the Hummer EV interpretation of a convertible Maverick. Roll bar between doors, removable hard top in 3-4 pieces, and a pop out rear window.

Yep, soft top is another option, but I didn't think it looked as good. I got 19 mpg in the Gladiator.
