I had to get all the way to "Tim Barley excitedly stated at the reveal event in Antarctica." before I got it.When I saw 500 k F 150 convertibles and “ Tim Barley “ I knew something was up!

Many on here are laughing, but I bet Ford would sell a hell of a lot of these. (If it was not a 4/1 joke)Jeep Gladiator is a convertible and it sells well.
I will admit the one reason I looked at the Gladiator was that I could take the top down.
Having owned a Gladiator, technically the top comes off, in 3 pieces, and the back portion is a 2 person job. It's better as a concept than in reality. The reason I got the Gladiator was because I owned a Miata and a Sporttrac, both old and costly to maintain, and the wife at the time said "we have a convertible and a truck, why don't we sell both and get a convertible truck?". Perfect idea right?Jeep Gladiator is a convertible and it sells well.
I mean, there are other roof options than the hard top.Having owned a Gladiator, technically the top comes off, in 3 pieces, and the back portion is a 2 person job. Yep, soft top is another option, but I didn't think it looked as good. I got 19 mpg in the Gladiator.I mean, there are other roof options than the hard top.
In any case, I decided against it for the same reason I bought my hybrid Maverick instead -- the Gas Mileage. The Gladiator is like driving a brick.
Dammit! I was so ready to sign up!
