Search results for "seat delete" are all talking about the rear seats, but I'm curious if anyone has deleted the FRONT passenger seat.

Why? I run hotshot, and I want to keep the back seat for sleeping, but I need somewhere to keep my cooler. (Iceco JP50) Doesn't quite fit behind the seat when it's slid all the way forward. I'm thinking of build some storage organization into the remaining space.

Only concern I have is the number of cables going to the seat. It's obviously a manual seat, but it's got the seat heater, that combined with the seat belt detector only account for 3 of the 4 cables I see underneath.

One of those wire/harness is for the airbag. Might want to disconnect battery cable before fiddling to avoid accidental detonation?

I'd take both the front passenger and rear seat out. Use the right side for a cot/mattress for those times you need to sleep or rest, and keep the cooler behind the driver's seat.

Without front passenger seat, affects SRS, RCM, OSCM
OSCM - front passenger weight detection
RCM - Restraints Control Module
SRS - Airbags

2025s changed the connector so pinout is a little different than 22-24.

The passenger seat fully reclined and all the way back is comfortable enough to stretch out & sleep for a night. Would need a bed the next night though. The folks that live in their cars are much tougher than me.

Building a cot for the passenger side would be much more comfortable than sleeping in a reclined seat or on the short back seat.
