Since I work at Ford, I'll use the recommended 0w-20 Motorcraft full synthetic oil. If I didn't, I'd use ANY brand of full synthetic 0w-20 except Quaker State. Quaker State is probably fine too. But my Dad didn't like Quaker State based on the1960s and 1970s formula that would sludge up. So I followed suit. 😅

Valvoline Restore & Protect 0W-20 is hands down the best value and performing motor oil out there right now IMO.

It basically stopped the oil burning from stuck rings in my wife's 140k mile Prius which had run Mobile 1 from day one. And BITOG is full of fantastic wear numbers.

For hybrids it's the best out there IMO.

That being said, pretty much anything you throw into the 2.5l Duratec will be great. It's a fantastic motor.
