I have the same Mount and a similar antenna to yours. How did you route the coax from the bed into the cab? That’s all I need to complete my installation and not quite sure how to do it. Thank you very much.

Yeah it took me a little while to figure it out also.

On the passenger side, right down in the corner behind the back seat, there is a little rubber grommet you can poke the cable through. To get at it, you will probably need to pop some of the fender pins out. I fed the cable along the bed and into one of the grommets below where my tonneau cover attaches. And then, you'll need to reach up into the fender and feed it through the hole.

The entry point into the cabin is behind a trim piece - it's basically right behind where the rear passenger seatbelt is, at the very bottom (basically level with the seat bottom). If you didn't know it was there - you would never be able to see it.

IIRC I read on here that it's where the cabling for the bed lighting is supposed to go.
This thread has a couple of shots of where the coax goes in and comes out:

HOW TO: Installing a CB radio / Ham Radio antenna on a Ford Maverick | MaverickTruckClub - 2022+ Ford Maverick Pickup Forum, News, Owners, Discussions

But it doesn't show you where the entrypoint into the cabin is from the wheel well. I'll see if I can grab a couple of shots for you later.

I have a 2025 and it seems to be the same as what's illustrated in that thread.

EDIT: I am unsure if the same applies on the driver's (left) side. I suspect it's probably obscured by the fuel tank but I could be wrong - I've not really looked.

Did you have to remove the rear passenger wheel and wheel cavity under cover to get the coax from where it goes from the bed into the wheel cavity and then to the cab or how did you thread that?

Hi Colin, tidy work. I lurk the Ontario ham fleas for electronics junk, so if you see some oik eye groping your Mav it might be me. Occasionally screw around with CB, but not into the whole rag chewing thing so much hence didn't bother with a ticket. Might be following your tips to get some old CB stuff installed for comms to basecamp, ship to shore, convoy control etc.

I did not remove the rear passenger wheel, though I could see how that'd make it easier.

But yes, you'll need access underneath the cover. You could take the whole thing off - I didn't. I just removed a few of the clips which gave me enough room to pull the coax down and feed it into the cab.

My yaesu 991 doesn't have a detachable face, but it fits nicely resting above the screen. Thing is I don't want to drill any holes in the dash to secure it.

I just found this package tray for the 25 dash and I think I am going to try securing the radio to it and just drop the whole thing onto the dash if/when we go travelling with the truck. Also looking for an ATAS antenna and may try mobile HF.

You have to learn to love the holes!

that said, the Bulletpoint rear brake mount NMO antenna adapter that I installed to avoid holes and corrosion has itself started to corrode in its first winter salt, despite regular car washes.

Not super-thrilled considering how much it cost.

Printed a plastic bracket that the rear feet slip into and the bracket itself slots on the back lip of the amazon cubby piece. Radio is secure but easily pops right off.

Ok - I've dodged a bullet but not buying that then... Thanks for the info!
