Several times I've seen posts from people thinking they may be lucky because they've gone 30-50K miles and had no issues. All of the threads I've seen on this subject have many people reporting no issues. Owners are clearly in a sad state when they don't expect that range of trouble-fee miles from modern vehicles.

To the OP, have you ever been a part of a vehicle forum before? You should know that you can expect to see many complaints on a forum, and those complaints will greatly outweigh the number of people posting what a great ownership experience they have had. So, "reading so many posts regarding issues" doesn't really imply that there are more issues with the Maverick than other vehicles.
23 recalls and counting, I believe on Mavericks alone. Ford is number 1 for Recalls. They are in first place by the thousands since tracking recalls. It is important to know what kind of company you are buying from. They are also required to have a third party review vehicle quality issues for a couple of years. Ford has a self imposed 2 week delay to an arrival for quality reviews. Still they have a minimum of 1 new recall every month. I like the Maverick but payed for an extended warranty for the first time in my life. Only time will tell how long the vehicle lasts, and how reliable it is. Based on Fords past and record, I have to be skeptical. It is smart not to base your trust on bias or blue ovals.

23xl eco with 20,370 miles, absolutely no issues, just the recalls which were all done at my house by dealership mobile (Love that, real easy).

Thanks for asking

I purchased my 25 Lobo knowing full well the extent of the Maverick’s quality issues. Purchased an enhanced/extended warranty for the first time in my life.

But I wanted a small truck with the lowest possible tailgate.

The owners who claim “no issues at all…except recalls” or “30,000 trouble free miles yay” remind me of The Black Knight after losing his limbs - ‘‘tis but a scratch!

That said, it points toward a willingness to bear pain because the Maverick is such a cool little truck!!

Just rolled over 10,000 last night on my way to the grocery store. 1 recall for the backup camera the dealer offered to do mobile service on, but I elected to take it in to look at the dash rattle TSB. No issues or major worries so far.

Minor worry, the windshield seems to be accumulating small scratches faster that I can recall on other vehicles, probably going to need to be replaced sooner than previous vehicles. Having paid for probably 5 windshields in my life out of pocket for normal wear or road hazards (don't do insurance claims, they will make you pay more), one of the reasons I skipped the more stuff packages that suddenly makes a $300-500 windshield a far more expensive dealer job having to re-calibrate sensors.

Minor annoyance, the idiot who didn't cut a large enough hole in the belly pan to do an oil change w/o removal. After 3 of them, I might have to look into modifications for that.

I totally agree with you. For me it is a vehicle for a truck lover. I have a full sized truck and was looking at ev's first, then hybrids, but just couldn't see myself driving a car or an SUV/Station wagon and so the Maverick fit the bill perfectly. A mini hauler sort of with a truck look. I've gotten as much as 68 mph on 50 mile per hour roads. I have been in to the dealer for a few issues. They did tell me, don't worry you do have a 3 year warranty. LMAO! Nice words of reassurance.
