I came across this video on YouTube (kenstevens5150) today about the effects of the chip shortage is having on the Bronco. There's not much real information in the video, it's more of what Ford is doing with Broncos that are built, but not ready for delivery. The video does spend the minute plus showing all the different colors the Bronco comes in, whuch is nice. How does this relate to Maverick? It's the same thing Maverick is going through right now only in a much warmer climate. 🥵😁

I just saw this on a Bronco forum. I wondered the same thing.

In other words, hope the vehicle you order isn't one like those, sitting there rusting away for months while it's not in use.

From the looks of it they are drivable so the shortages must be for various features in the different Lux or safety packages, as a guess.

Could be, wouldn't be difficault to put in all the mechnical stuff and have it sitting there waiting for sensor modules, cameras, infotainment systems and such.

Maybe we can give or sell to Ford all those millions of Apple cell phones we all have in our drawers at home wasting away. I have five myself.
But I don't think that would work, it is a plan.

Stack-em- and rack-em time!

Makes sense… they couldn’t be driven off the line without at least the main PCM and BCEM modules.

The dash (if it has one) probably lights up like a Christmas tree with error codes for all the other missing modules!

Yeah it would be interesting to know what they're missing since they're driving them.
