Misery loves company.

I know the Hybrid group has been put in the great holding pattern in the sky. Apparently due to EPA verification. But what about those of you who have Ecoboosts that were scheduled and went into ‘Production’ status but have never moved beyond that.

I had a build date of 10/4 and went into ‘Production’ the week prior. Got my window sticker and have not seen any change since. No build date, No built date, No shipped Date, No ETA.

Just lost in Purgatory.

Anyone else out there with me?

Have you tried checking the Motorcraft Service tracker to see if there's initialized modules linked to that VIN?

To the Ford site that populates your Modules being turned on (this lets you know it’s actually built at the factory)

I ordered an ecoboost in July, and have no build date. So no, not with you. Purgatory would be an upgrade for me

Ford Maverick Chip Shortage Creates Production Purgatory? 1633875243865

So is this saying it is waiting on these modules?

Where in Kansas, I’m in Wichita ordered the XLT 2.0 truck 9/22, got a build date the next day for 11/15. Very lucky I know, and so far haven’t been rescheduled like others on here. Fingers crossed!

Looks like I’ve been bite by the CS bug.

Wonder how many more are out there in the same boat?

Good question. I am seeing this too for tge modules. Have no idea what this means.
Those are what’s holding up your build completion.

Is the way I see it.

Update to Production Status:

I contacted my dealer today and even-though the tracking link I have available has not changed from just ’In Production’, they show that it is built and awaiting shipment.

So for those of you who had builds scheduled for last week 10/04 and have not seen any updates, there is a pretty chance your trucks were built and the system just hasn’t updated correctly or timely.

Live in Hope or Die in Despair. ✌😊

Yep. I received an email this evening letting me know that my "10/4 week" truck was built and estimated delivery of Nov 9th - Nov 15th.
