Well, crap.....FOMO wins. Ordered one too....either it'll be really cool or will end up in the garage never-neverland. But I've spent way more than $19.41 for other things that end up there, so either way I'm good.

I ended up purchasing two. According to the other poster and pictures i have seen online it should come with everything minus the windshield tab to mount and wire this up. I am hoping that the price will stay cheap and maybe I can order more in the future. I plan on installing one in my honda accord and the second one may go in my ranger or my maverick when it finally arrives.

This thread reminded me I have a auto dim mirror in my garage I kept from my last car (its a frameless version with hidden compass). Heres some pictures of what under the panel, I ran out of time but will try to find power wire soon. I looked at it again, does anyone know how to get the dome light assembly off? , I think I will wire it to the light circuit but I pull on it and it wont come out, I will look for more info when I have time.

Personally, I think I'll tap into the overhead lights. The risk of cutting a wire to the camera isn't worth it.

While we all wait...is that black dome sensor part of the inactive "perimeter plus" system?

Just purchased this for under $20 for anyone else interested. This seems to be a pretty generic gentex mirror that comes standard on numerous vehicles. Auto-dimming, homelink, compass.

I ordered two and plan on putting one in my F-150 as well as my Maverick.

As I'll be installing a dash cam, this is the exact installation video I'll follow. It seems the only difference is that the removal of the mirror on a Ford is a little different.
