Chapman/Horsham -- 2022MY to 2023MY rollover orders

Got it directly from her, so it should be. I think she said 60 rolled over. So that means they'll only be able to fulfill about 90 of the 250 new orders. Not great news there.

That makes me feel a little better, but that still seems really low for a total. Figure if they only build for 10 months the next model year that is only 15 a month on average so it would still take 4 months to get all the rollovers scheduled, and that is assuming they don't take any of the new orders in the meantime.

The dealer memorandum specifically talks about missing certificates. I expect, this is an easily solved problem. For your sake, I hope so.

Honestly it seemed throughout MY22 that the XLT/Lux/Hybrids were the most likely to be skipped. They seemed to build a lot of Lariat/Lux/Hybrid trucks, especially here in the home stretch.

I had noticed the same thing - even the small sample that @chuckles had maintained seemed to clearly show that later Lariat Lux Hybrids were being scheduled way ahead of even much earlier Hybrid XLT Lux orders. The one Aug Lariat was scheduled in early May, and the five Sep Lariat orders were all scheduled in between Apr and Jun, whereas none of the XLT Lux orders were scheduled prior to early Aug, and most not until Sep.

Thanks for posting, that, combined with Ashlie's assurance that they'd get it taken care of, has definitely eased my concern.

If it's true that 65-80% of the 86k MY23 orders were hybrids, and a lot of those buyers (unlike me!) were smart and opted for less constrained builds, whether I ever actually get scheduled or not is the real question!

I guess we will find out soon enough if Lariat builds are still Ford's favorites. My Lariat build has plenty of constraints in it, so if that ever gets scheduled before XLs or XTLs then we will know for sure.
I do believe that Ford wants to build rollovers first because the private offers expires in Jan 2023, or maybe that's my hope.

Just listened to Tim's weekly live stream and he stated that Ford has only given out 50% of the allocations for 2023 Mavs. He stated that it should guarantee that all retail orders are filled and that more dealer allocations will be issued later to meet there retail order needs.
It rally makes sense for them to do it this way because it should avoid the rollover fiasco and the financial hit they must be taking from all those private order discounts.

My driver license address is the same as my home address on my order, so the reason why some got it and some didn't is still shrouded in mystery. I'll just keep my fingers crossed for now that everybody who should get their private offer actually does.

I also have a heavily constrained Lariat/Lux/Hybrid/BAP. My Chapman order acknowledgment has me at priority 11. So, if Im not scheduled by January, do I loose my private offer? First time Im hearing about this.

This is also the first I am hearing of the private offer expiring. @ssumass, I am also very interested to see where you heard from this from. The first 2023 deliveries won't be taken until late this year at the earliest, so it's not crazy to say a very large portion (if not most) of the rollovers won't be delivered by Jan. It simply wouldn't make sense for them to generate a private offer that most might not even be able to use.
