Gotta love Florida! Tinting both the windshield and front seat windows is illegal here.

Everywhere around me quoted double for ceramic.

So, no ceramic tint for this guy

5% sunstrip, 15% fronts, 5% rears. So glad I don't live in a congested area where they give a crap about that stuff. I had a cop comment about a previous truck I had with the same setup. He said it was nice, but he couldn't see in the windows... I said "That's the point" (y)

Well tint was not the reason UV and IR heat was. My dermatologist had heart to heat with me, most my issue are windshield time related . The IR heat is big thing in Florida. this was $850

Yea I get it. My dad is the same way. CA truck driver and you'll never see him without long sleeves. Fortunately where I live it's not an issue, but I also prefer long sleeves. Most the year we get less than 8 hours of sun and it's always sideways in the sky lol.

Anyways, looks good! Enjoy!

IR heat reduction is also the main reason I want to get film added to the windows. Even the higher visible light transmissible ceramic films block almost as much IR heat as the lower transmissible ceramics. And I don't like being in a vehicle with blacked out windows at night. It makes me feel claustrophobic.

Wow, there is a lot a variance in the pricing of IR coatings. I had a buddy just get his new Bronco IR coated and it cost him only about $450+ another $150 for the IR interior ceramic windshield window side coating. I'm thinking the Mav may be a little cheaper???

$850 OUCH! - I just tinted my upper windshield tonight. My Pre-cut nano-ceramic tint came in today. I went with 20% for the front 2 windows (35% is legal). I ordered 35% for all rear (factory dyed windows). This is the exact same thing I did to my Atlas Blue AWD XL a few months back. I will install all 5 windows tomorrow.
FYI...I paid $60 for all the Nano-ceramic pre-cut tint. Obviously saving a ton of $$.
Here is where I ordered my tint. (They also have pre-cut Nano-Carbon tint for about 1/2 the price).
Have an awesome day! 🤟

Looks great. Just FYI your front windows are too dark legal wise in Florida.

Funny how darker vehicles make the window tint look darker in photos. Mine is 20% on the sides and just a strip on the front. Legal limit in Fla. and still looks dark.

@Snafu12 looks good! I need to get mine tinted. I'm up in the New Port Richey/Tarpon Springs area. The Florida sun takes no prisoners. I was thinking 20% all around with a 5% strip for the windshield.

Did you get full ceramic or nano-ceramic? I'm looking for IR and heat rejection primarily.
