What is your point? If the same promise was given to someone 14 months ago vs 3 then what?

That would be pretty foolish of Ford. They are in business to stay in business. One ticked off customer is better than two ticked off customers.

Can't hardly believe this needs to be explained, but FMC telling a customer "your truck will be built on this specific date", then not building the truck on that date is likely to tick off a customer.

Doesn't need to be explained it's as simple as suck it up butter cup like the rest of us that have been waiting a year plus. Not going to throw shade at any September 2022 order that gets built/scheduled before a 2021 order. Happy for them, but don't complain about one of us being put back in the cue ahead of you. It should be no Suprise to anyone following this forum that there will be waits and rescheduling potentially multiple times.

2. Stores do have shorter checkout lines restricted to people with smaller orders.
2b. It is a moot point if the store does not have an item that a person wants in stock.

Venting frustration is one thing. Saying that Ford should build trucks in the order of which orders are placed is nonsense. If Ford does not have the parts to build person A's truck, or if person A's dealer does not have allocations, then it is perfectly logical for Ford to move on to the next one.

Actually, if Dairy Queen doesn't have the ingredients available to make a banana boat they shouldn't take your order.

Just got off with Ford Chat, and they confirmed my canceled 2022 with a VIN and rolled to a 2023 is unscheduled clean with a Priority 02. However I also called Ford Service and they could not find my 2023 order, just the canceled 2022. Very strange and do not know what to think.

From my experience, the Ford chat reps typically have access to more information than the phone reps.

Just received an email stating scheduled to be built on 1/23/23. I’m in no rush, we’ll see how this plays out.

Well I was just scheduled for week of 2 Jan. As a note I updated my order to be a Lariat Lux from an XLT Lux when the rollover happened. Originally had ordered 8 Oct 2021.

Sure but if you're at the counter and order 5 banana boats and while they're still finishing your order someone at drivethru grabs the last BB ingredients and sends them out the window- what then?

I was so hopeful that my order being at 02 on Tuesday was a great sign that I would get scheduled. Now after seeing emails have arrived and not having one, I figured I'd check in with Ford chat in case the email address got screwed up on the new order, and found out, not only did I not get scheduled but my order got put back to priority 10! WTF Ford, I thought the cancelled hybrids/new 23s were going to be dropped to priority 02 and kept there till they scheduled...

@fordvideoguy, when an order is at a priority 02 can you add an email address to the order and it will stay at 02 or do you have to bring it down to at 10 for any changes to the order including adding an email address?

Very busy day over at the Ford online chat, but I was able to confirm my 2023 VIN and build week of January 16. So far so good with the transition. We'll see what actually happens in January.

I guess you have to chock it up to life is not fair. I'm actually with you. Ford is learning. That's why they shut down Maverick MY23 orders in one week. They know now that they can't promise production. MY22 (with VIN) to MY23 buyers are the sacrificial lambs.
