As a former NY'er (but a born and raised Floridian) I approve this message!

That rear sliding window is handy to have! I needed a 10x12 piece of vinyl flooring for a project which wouldn't fit in the Maverick bed and I didn't want to bend it in half, so I shoved it through the slider window. First time I actually used it! Sadly, not an option on the XL Ranger.
Exactly my point with a 2 by 4 across the bed you can protect the window and get merchandise through that window safely. Placing items trough the sun roof also works if your careful. Also the size of the Maverick was a factor when stuffing it in my back yard with the rest of my vehicles.

Ha! we had an Austin Healy that lived in our backyard for a while. Never did get that POS to run.

In ordering the Ranger, I'm finally giving into my inner teenager who always wanted a truck. Once upon a time, I was one of those tree-huggers who drove the smallest, most economical cars possible.
+1
used to drive a Geo Metro.. 50mpg with a stick shift, kinda loved that car.

A friend gave me a good deal on the truck in my profile pic, 2004 Sport Trac. Really have enjoyed it, way more than I expected to. My 2024 XL hybrid is not yet scheduled for build so will be seeing if I can get to 250k in the Sport Trac.. another 3 years ought to do it, right ;-(

If you ordered a 2024 hybrid Maverick, you should probably expect a 2025 model year. Ford bit off more than it can chew producing this little truck!

I disagree, allocations are the only thing holding up orders. People chided Long McArthur for taking so many retail orders and they are about caught up. The extra shift since last July and the surplus of refused retail order on their lot resulted in trucks going for under MSRP. The order bank for MY has never closed.

Congrids, I will be looking forward to your Ranger experience. The local dealer here in mid NH has discouraged ordering a Mav. My F150 needs to downsize but the 4k is barely enough. As much as I would like the smaller truck I am also tending towards the Ranger, at least when things become easier to actually buy.
NH dealer wants a sale. I don't think any dealers in NH have any allocations. I went to a few, and called a LOT more all over New England. All were willing to take an order, but when I asked about allocations they got quiet. At least your dealer didn't let you order and say nothing about not having allocations. That's why I ordered from Granger. I am no where as patient as all the people who waited a year plus! 😉

My husband would like a Ranger, but we decided smaller payment, smaller fuel bill worked better. Plus Mavericks are just cool! 😎

Enjoy the Ranger!
