Dealer Canceled Order

No there's not. You will need that info from the dealership.

Remember, it is the dealership that orders the vehicle from Ford, not you/the customer.
They can cancel an order if they want.... But there really is no good reason for them to do so.
If they made a mistake, they should own up to it and try to help you out!

That's a hell of way to do business. I get that I ordered through a dealer, but ultimately I'm buying Fords product (I can only assume Ford vetted this dealer to represent them).

Curious, Did you have an order number? I contacted Ford, but they said they needed the order number to check the status of the order and of course I have crickets from the dealership. Is there an alternate way to get the order number?

I had an order number from the sheet I signed at the dealer when I placed the order. Oddly after a lot of research and talking to my dealer I found out that the order number is made up by the dealer any way that they want. Mine was my birth month and year. Anyhow I ordered 10/9/2021 and in June 2022 after my dealer supposedly changed my color from silver to white per my text request, I called Ford to check status and suddenly they couldn’t find my order. Called my dealer and they said the Ford wanted it cancelled. They were never clear. Said it was because it was a hybrid. Said they they were asked to cancel it because hybrids would not get built. Ford said they had no record my order ever existed. It was a mess and I still don’t know what happened. I offered to send my order confirmation email to Ford but they didn’t care to see it.

Welcome to the US dealership model.

The one upside is that it guarantees service centers get built and are accessible for a lot more people. Tesla has done their best to avoid the dealer model, and their repair setup is an absolute mess.
