Canadian Order Tracking Link

Just an FYI for those who don't have it.... Ford has set up a Ford.ca VIN tracking site. I was tracking my VIN on the US site, but now it re-directs to here;
https://shop.ford.ca/vehicleordertracking

Note that has not yet worked for me... even the US one was flaky (sometimes I'd get info back, sometimes not).

I know! It was like a 50/50 shot whether I'd get info on my truck or not. Maybe they are transitioning the data to the CDN link.

Considering how out of wack Ford.ca has been since last fall, it's a wonder anything works! Give them some time.

It worked for me for a day or two now it says there is a problem. I just figured it was because it was shipped and is now either on rail/convoy somewhere.

Tried it again, and now it is telling me that I have an invalid order number. The order number right on my order sheet. Go figure.

People are having the same issue with the US tracking, think the entire system is down right now.

AFAIK you can’t track without the order number and VIN. Your dealer should be able to give you both numbers.

also, having both numbers doesn’t mean you have a build date. When the tracking link worked a week ago, it showed that my order was accepted but no build date.

Well the Ford.ca vehicle tracking link has been dead almost a week now. Going to the US link kicks back to the Canadian URL (which doesn't work). I emailed Ford Canada, and they did respond... basically saying the order is processing with no build date and said I should inquire with the dealer for updates. Uggh. This should be a slam dunk to query the order status, its like their systems are in 2002.

the Canadian vehicle tracking link finally worked for me today. Just in time to see that I have a window sticker and that my Maverick is in production! Modules have "popped" as well so I think my trucklet is actually built!

you have to ask your dealer to be straight with you. How many orders are ahead of you and how many allocations do they get for 2022.
