I believe in Canada, Ford does not communicate with the buyer directly. Everything is routed through the dealership.Cactus grey hybrid XLT + Lux ordered in March 2022, reached out to my dealer for the first time since ordering after seeing the options change for 2023MY, they confirmed I would be getting a 2023 and that they would order with the same options. Had to go back and forth a few times before they understood that FOB remote start has been removed from the Luxury package and that I need it added separately then. They hadn't placed the 2023MY reorder yet which has me nervous.
To this point in the 6 months I have only received emails from the dealership and nothing from Ford Canada. Did others receive anything from Ford Canada when their factory order was first placed or ever call Ford directly to confirm their order?

I ordered back in June and received zero communication directly from Ford. I reordered a 23 the other week and it was the same thing.

It's not particularly detailed though. Once your dealer has submitted the order, they'll tell you it's in processing and won't have any additional information until you have a scheduled build date and VIN assigned.
I’m scheduled for today as well. Haven’t heard from my dealer so fingers crossed. Was Sept 10, then Oct 3 then Oct. 10.I'm in Ontario and ordered my Hybrid November 23, 2021. Have a VIN but no confirmation of production. I did get a contact # in the US and they confirmed it's in the production run starting 10 Oct 2022 (Tomorrow) We'll see.
Just got notification from my sales guy that my Mav has been built and is awaiting shipping. XLTLUX Hybrid. I ordered in somewhere around 1st week of Jan...hoping to get this Jan. I've never been given a vin, or any other info other than random updates that I initiated. Still crossing fingers it will actually show up..So, just trying to get a rough idea, on how long everyone has had to wait for thier Maverick from order to pickup at dealer?
Me? I pulled the trigger in Feb 5th. So yes, I know I'm going to be waiting to at least October -November if the 8-9 month wait stays to the course.
Lets hope the back log of chips and computer compents start to get caught up.
It really comes down to what information you can pry from your dealer. Depends on how often you want to be calling them. I for one couldn't be bothered, I just waited. They called when it was built, and when it arrived.
