The only reason I added 360 is for the rear cross traffic alert. Would be nice if this was included with the mandatory back up camera.

Disclaimer; Before the mob shows up, this is just my thoughts and opinions for my own situation, not complaining just stating my reasoning. I don't have a Mav yet, just my experience with other Ford products. You can turn it off in the settings which is nice. The way I look at this co-pilot package is it might be great for some people, but it seems too expensive for what I'm getting. As stated I'm not a fan of the lane keeping and the BLIS I don't mind but it's not the end of the world if I don't have it. Apparently this also bumps you up to power mirrors (another thing I don't really need, I set my mirrors where I want them and never touch them again). You would think it would list power mirrors as part of the package since you're really not getting much. Hybrid gets a full size spare included, why not give the more expensive eco a freebie spare as well? Another annoyance is the 360 package is required in order to get a sliding rear window. What kind of sense does that make? But yeah it might make sense to some people who want these features, but $540 to get something that doesn't really come with anything I want or need, just so I can spend even more to get a sliding rear window seems crazy to me.
Anybody know if State Farm does as well?I did insurance quotes for vins with and without 360 and Geico was offering me lower premiums with the 360. Enough that it’ll pay for itself in a couple years.
Not sure how it is on the Maverick, but the Tahoe I drive sometimes at work has lane keep assist. If you are blatantly crossing a line (like changing lanes in traffic without your signal or cutting a double yellow going into a corner), it does not beep at you or do anything. It is more only for when you are drifting out of your lane slowly. Even then on the Tahoe, it just a slight steering nudge. There is no vibration or sound unless it needs to do it three times in a row I think. The only thing I'm not crazy about on co-pilot is the lane keeping assist. It makes driving in rural areas very annoying.
Yep insurance that's why I added it to mine.I did insurance quotes for vins with and without 360 and Geico was offering me lower premiums with the 360. Enough that it’ll pay for itself in a couple years.
Yes, the lane correction is fixed by a simple push of a button from my experience. On and off with the left hand. It stays off, so its not one of those options that automatically turns on after you have parked and turned off the vehicle.I can imagine, I drive in rural areas too. In the manual it looks like you can turn it off with a button on one of the steering column stalks. Have you tried that, does it help?
I'm glad someone mentioned it after all the discussion about "cost"Yep insurance that's why I added it to mine.
I have similar system in my rdx and love it. I would never buy a car without it.Thanks!!! Might have to buy from dealer stock instead of waiting for my order...and I do not want copilot
what turned me off to it was the shaking of the steering when i got on the fog line....Not sure how it is on the Maverick, but the Tahoe I drive sometimes at work has lane keep assist. If you are blatantly crossing a line (like changing lanes in traffic without your signal or cutting a double yellow going into a corner), it does not beep at you or do anything. It is more only for when you are drifting out of your lane slowly. Even then on the Tahoe, it just a slight steering nudge. Dealer Stock????? the only dealer stock I'm aware of in sunny Florida is a truck that someone rejected at delivery which are few and far between down here, and then get ready for the $5,000 to $10,000 market adjustment fee( rip off price gouge is the translation) My dealer has had only two instances of rejection at delivery they took the honorable route .Started at the top of there order list of folks who have yet to receive a truck, called every customer in order described the truck fully over the phone you had 5 minutes to say yes I want it or not. they went down the list. My sales person said they didn't make 3 phone callsThanks!!! Might have to buy from dealer stock instead of waiting for my order...and I do not want copilot
My thoughts exactly. If the blind spot monitor saves me from a single incident, the cost is less than my deductible. Why not? Safety add ons for $500 seem like a no brainer.
Sorry that bus left long ago. Auto companies really don't care what you want. Lip service is what you get.I hear you. I would like to get just the options I want without having to pay for stuff that I don't want.
I've felt that way my whole life.I would like to get just the options I want without having to pay for stuff that I don't want.
