Can the Function that stops you from scrolling on a USB flash drive while in motion be disabled???

I have a ton of music on a drive that I use in the vehicle. When in motion and trying to scroll through the playlist, the radio will have a pop up that says basically, Can't use for safety while in motion, that blocks the view of the music list. You then have to click on close. Is there a way with or without Forscan that you can disable this function. When on a long drive it will only play an album list or one song chosen if not part of an album and then stop or loop. Stupid! Aftermarket radios don't do this. They, may not allow you to play videos. You can overcome that easily. Any help would be appreciated.

Why, all of the sudden is Ford so concerned with this when they have much bigger issues with recalls. LMAO

Is I understand your question correctly, you want get rid of the "nanny" function and search your USB drive while in motion. My previous vehicle allowed this so I feel your pain.

A couple of weeks ago I bought an OSB adapter and used Forscan to make the changes needed. The changes were the ones I found here on MTC at the link below.

I have used Forscan. So the link with the disable code is for Lariats. Does this work with XLT?

Good point. I'm not honestly sure because I have a Lariat. Maybe one of the authors of that thread will reply. I just followed the "recipe".

You might connect Forscan and see if the default values are the same as Lariat but it still might not work.
