Buyer Dropped Out, XLT 4K FX4 Lux Good Pricing?

Hey all, just got a call on a Maverick that buyer Dropped on.
Trying to figure out how they got to 39200 and if that's a decent price or nutso dealer markup?

NO, no need to pay over sticker unless really desperate for one. MOST dealers are still selling them at cost in my Tri state area, Ohio PA WV. Of course, you still have to catch one of the lot.

If that's their first volley, go back at them with an offer of MSRP. Play their game as long as you can with the back and forth. Then when both sides are firm, buy or walk. At least you've wasted a bunch of their time if nothing else. And maybe you'll get a decent deal, best case.

Definitely! They asked me to download Ford Pass "for my car" lol.. apparently a thin ceramic coating for sitting in the lot but there doesn't seem much of anything to justify the markup

My dealer called me 4 weeks ago with almost the exact same truck. The only difference they maintained MSRP for $31k. Not all dealers are taking their customers.

OP stated it was a customer order refusal. Betting they tried to jack the price on the original order holder as well.

Hit the home run; extended warranty, free scheduled maintenance for life, and a bunch of accessories that you like!

If they don’t want to budge that’s what I usually try to do is throw in a whole bunch of accessories and oil changes or anything else they may have there. Don’t forget you’ll be paying sales tax on that markup also and if I’m not mistaken the difference should buy you one or two of the extended warranties.
