That sounds like one of those questions I might not want to know the answer to...Do you know why McDonalds never put tomatoes on their burgers?
I managed to gain 20 pounds in the Air Force by eating Little Rock Base Ops patty melts before every mission. It was worth it.Would a Patty Melt be considered? They are my favorite.
I have four "P's" to rate a resturant by and a resturant must offer these four items before earning my custom and they are:
1. Patty Melt on the menu.
2. Pot of coffee so you don't have to wait for someone to refill your cup.
3. Pancakes on the menu.
4. Pie for when your done.
If three out of four aren't present then I won't be either.
I have been meaning to try my hand at making an Oklahoma fried onion burger.
The two meats go well together! When I was a teenager, I worked in my uncle's grocery store. He had been a trained butcher. One of his personal favorites to take home from the meat department was a sort of "combination steak" made by running a thin steak of beef and a thin steak of pork together through the cuber at the same time (the machine with "rollers" with interlocking blades that made cube steak).Years ago, after enjoying a burger at a Hofbrauhaus restaurant, I started to research what made it different. Turns out a typical "German" burger was a mix of ground beef and ground pork, so my wife & I started experimenting with various mixes, settling on a 2/3 beef-1/3 pork mix.

#3 has to offer blueberry pancakes as well, fresh and inside the batter, not the purple glue on top.Would a Patty Melt be considered? They are my favorite.

+1! I think moose is the best wild game meat, followed by elk. Caribou, despite having a diet far different (mostly lichens), tastes surprisingly similar to venison.Moose Burgers. The best. Even better than venison IMHO.
This got me thinking about Big Boy, we had local Big Boy restaurants in the Chicago suburbs growing up but in IL they were called "Tops Big Boy". I decided to look it up on wikipedia and oh man what a confusing franchised mess Big Boy's was. Even Shoney's started off as Big Boy. There still appear to be some Big Boy's left with Frisch's being one of the largests chains. Next time I'm in Ohio I'll have to stop at one and see if it's still as good as I remember them.Has anyone heard of Frisch's Big Boy? The Big Boy is my favorite burger!
Frisch's is a regional Ohio chain. I think there are other burger joints that use the Big Boy recipe.

I used to frequent a "Bob's Big Boy" that was right outside of Andrews AFB/Naval Air Facility Wash DC in Camp Springs, MD. They had good burgers, but we mostly went there for the breakfast buffet after a night out on the town. I think there were also "Shoney's Big Boy" restaurants in the same area. This got me thinking about Big Boy, we had local Big Boy restaurants in the Chicago suburbs growing up but in IL they were called "Tops Big Boy". Originally, McDonald's considered tomatoes as a very seasonal vegetable whose taste was inconsistent across the country, especially in the northeast during winter. Every time they have introduced a sandwich with tomatoes it is a huge flop.fake news
totally forgot about the "The McDLT" didn't ya.

McDonalds spent the past 10 years trying to come up with a "juicier" burger. It has launched in some areas of the US and will fully launch in 2024.
