Nice look. Works so much better on a lowered Mav than it would on my FX/4. Nice.

What did you find for good mounting hardware?I found it on Amazon (Bezel), had to modify it a bit for a good fit, but not bad for the price.
According to his photos he posted. He used Allen head bolts with standard lock nuts. I didn't see any washers from the photos he posted. What did you find for good mounting hardware?
Just wondering, because the Amazon listing shows recessed hardware, but the ring does not look like it has that capability. I can see that his are not recessed. I guess my question really should have been "so the recessed hardware is actually not an option?".According to his photos he posted. He used Allen head bolts with standard lock nuts. Yes I noticed that as well, probably just dependent on what the person installing decided to use.Just wondering, because the Amazon listing shows recessed hardware, but the ring does not look like it has that capability. It definitely drains well lol, I can see the trail on the bezel below the tip. Also, there's a few pin holes in some of my welds that works as a drain toI love the look versus OEM my only problem would be I know every time nearly I start my Maverick it definitely blows a little condensation out on each startup from the exhaust.
With the way you've modified it I wonder if it's allowing that condensation to drain properly.
You can see the dirty spot on my garage floor from where it always exits.

Thankyou for all the kind words! I'll try to address everyone's questions here.
I decided against the side exit under the skirt for clearance issues, my truck is lowered and I didn't want any bottoming out or scraping, high and tight is what we like!
I'm hoping that the ring will help with the heat, so far I haven't seen any issues out the gate which is promising. I tried to I cut the hole in the bumper slightly larger than internal diameter of those plates to keep any plastic as far away from the tip as possible. I may end up going back in and heat wrapping the modified section if I see any issues. Other wise I didn't add any additional heat shielding.
So far I don't hear any noise from the tip bouncing around. I did shake test it prior to finalizing the welds and clamp. It had pretty good movement with almost no noise. Nothing can be heard in the cabin. I did re-locate the hanger to help support that tip as well.
I've included a couple additional photos as well as a short cold start and rev. Please be kind to my welds, they're ugly but they're solid. I'm a full time Ford technician and welding hobbyist. I did have a nice band clamp I was going top use to mate the modified section to the original exhaust, however the pipe diameter in the rear is some weird size between 2 1/4" and 2 1/2", so the clamp I had wouldn't fit. I had some U-clamp specials on hand in the garage which did work.
Also a couple things to note about sound and droning. Deleting the resonator definitely changed the tone, giving a little more bite and rasp, however volume is about the same, which is to be expected. Droning isn't bad at all, a small bit at around 1800-2000 RPM depending on load and throttle position. Most notably can be heard on decel around 3500 -3800 RPM. I run sport mode at all times, transmission shift strategy allows the vehicle to engine brake, holding it in gear. It actually sounds really cool and I don't mind at all. It's not very bad in the cabin at all either.

what exhaust tip did you go with? and size...
Glad I’m not the only one. Couldn’t figure out if I pushed the exhaust into it while off roading or if I got some low octane fuel and it ran hot. Was in the middle lane f a trip form Texas to Michigan with the enclosed trailer and noticed my bumper was meltedGiven that we've recently seen a bunch of people with melted bumpers from the exhaust on EB Mavs, I'd be very hesitant to do this...

The Common Thread that I found when researching on other platforms, was that the owners were towing trailers and they had EcoBoost Mavericks.I think these exhausts were all bent, or had a hanger failure (which also was caused by bumping into something).
and because it's concealed from the factory, a person would have visual cues there was an issue unless they happened to look underneath *and* knew what it looked like originally.
and their exhaust is pushed up, I'm 95% certain. The Common Thread that I found when researching on other platforms, was that the owners were towing trailers and they had EcoBoost Mavericks.
