Not that I'm aware of. I picked it up 7 days ago and drove it to and from work and was cleaning the front lots of dirty snow up here and saw the broken fin. Regardless of the fixing of it was just wondering if the assembly is the same as the older models or if the fins are individually replacable
If it is the same as the 2022-2024 fins, they are individually replacable. Ford Dealers pulled many out of the 2022s when Ford came up with that as a recall fix. Here is the recall...shutter removal guide starts on page 6. If you have a 2025 Lariat with the ACC moved lower than the 2022-24 models, there may be a difference.

Since my engine isn't part of the unknown effected units recall for potential fire mitigation, I've been curious about putting some fins back in that it appears are just being left out now on newer models, for just-in-case I guess..

But thinking it would help the cold driving an retaining heat, ultimately gas mileage.

So thanks for the product numbers. I already knew that recall procedure seemed to be easy removal, just a matter of finding them.
Hmmm, junk yard.

Just remove the broken one if it's limiting the opening and closing of the others. It will not cause very much difference in engine warming time. I lived in the San Luis Valley in Colorado some years ago and often we were the record low in the lower 48 states. I remember one morning it was -41° so we all cut cardboar to cover the radiator just to make the heater work. I think the $600 price is to cover the cost of all those little push pins that hold the front end, grill, bumper cover on the truck. The grill slats should be free but a day or so of labor and those pins....grab your check book. LOL

Yeah that's what I'm hoping haven't found any info yet if they are the same but it'll be a lot cheaper to buy the assembly and just take one of the fins and slot it in than pay 600 dollars...
I had a 2022 that had to have at least one of the lower shutters removed for the possible engine fire recall to improve air flow so oil leaking would evaporate faster. I don't know about putting them back but they definitely can be individually removed.

As I recall for some 22 and 23 models, Ford "fixed" a potential fire risk in a recall by removing 2 or 4 of the blinds. Second from the bottom on each side for sure. So, it seems like you are not really losing a lot if you do not replace it if it is not affecting the others. Search past threads for more info if you want.
Some need to check their vin numbers to see if they were removed under the recall. If the vin shows the engine fire recall there is an extended warranty on the ice. Don't remember but was something like 8-10 years or 100-120k miles. Has a couple of specific error codes that an engine knock being detected.

Active Grille shutters fin already broke... anyone know if you can replace the fins or do you have to replace the whole assembly. And if so are the assemblies on the 2025 the same as the previous models?

My 24 EcoBoost has one missing fin on top and bottom, I’m assuming that’s so it won’t overheat to quick.
Mine does too! There’s holes for a fin there on each. I just noticed the other day washing my truck. It’s been fairly cold here (PNW) lately and the “shutters” were almost closed.
also curious why it the inter cooler has fins/ shutters? Isn’t a colder intake charge more efficient?
