I wasn't aware of the importance of the different specifications on DOT 4 brake fluids ,although you may have been. But just wanted to put this up as a reminder for those that may not be aware of the difference .

Most DOT 4 LV isn't good enough either. These standards need updates really bad. DOT 4 LV can be only Class 4 where Ford's spec requires Class 6 minimum and were already seeing Class 7 come out. "Ford requires WSS-M6C65-A2 approved “Motorcraft DOT 4 LV” fluid, or similar WSS-M6C65-A2 approved brake fluid. The Ford WSS-M6C65-A2 standard includes the much more stringent ISO 4925 Class 6 (DOT 6) viscosity requirements."
