Boost Gauge (?)

I friend of mine recently commented that there is no boost gauge on our Mav's and didn't understand why. We all know it has a turbo, but wouldn't it be nice to know when the turbo kicks in and how much boost there is? Is there an aftermarket gauge? Difficulty of installing? Inquiring minds want to know.

There's always the OBD route and one of the many apps for your phone. Very handy if you have an old cell phone you aren't using.

In my old F250 diesel, loved the boost gauge. Also the display of transmission gearing, shifts. My fave trick was in 45 mph zone, set cruise control, could slowly speed truck to say 47 mph, watch shift to 6th gear, then slowly reduce to 45, and hold 6th gear at 45. Save some fuel.

I use a cts3 in the Ecoboost mav to monitor a lot of stuff with the truck and boost I love it

CTS3 monitor by Edge Products is nice. But hefty price. The Scangage monitor better price, but still a pricey item.

With a decent tax refund, maybe good birthday or Christmas present from wife?
