I want to give a shout out to Chuck at Hixson Ford, Lincoln, Mazda in Alexandria, LA. I submitted my reservation and got a call back the next morning. Scheduled for me to come in at my convenience. Told me to bring the print out of my build and the process would be quick and easy. I got to the dealership he met me at the door. We sat down, he put in all my information, got a copy of my license. We verified the order was correct and he submitted it. He has texted me a couple of times a week to keep me posted. Selling the truck to me at Invoice with no mark-up. No deposit was required. If any incentive come out he'll apply them and he is also doing a tax recapture on the truck I sold them in early July, which will apply to my new Maverick purchase. Chuck new his way around in the order system and new a lot about the Maverick. Look forward to seeing him again hopefully soon with my Oct 4th build week.

Sure, I'd like to get it at 3 or 4% below invoice, but going all over the place to get a truck when I have a great local dealer, makes no sense to me.

How about North Florida? Anyone know a good dealer that may offer a good discount. I'm dealing with Parks but they don't seem to be motivated. It's like pulling teeth when I placed the order.

When the Maverick first came out I listed Fort Walton Beach on the Ford order form. When I went there to order my Maverick they wanted an extra $3,000 just to submit the order. I ordered a 2.0 XLT from Crestview Ford and my truck came in about 5 months later. I later ordered a Lariat Hybrid from Moyer Ford in Alabama for MSRP + $365 for doing the paperwork. I should be able to pick it up in about 2 weeks. I'll let you know what my final cost are. The agent I worked with is Dan Norris at Moyer Ford in Foley Alabama. It's located down near the coast. I am trying to decide if I should put a 2024 Maverick on order the 17th of July. Good Luck.
