I'm considering having a black bed cover on my white maverick and also getting the top of the body painted black. Does anyone have a reference on this?

I would look into getting a black wrap on the roof. I am seriously considering having this done. I've seen pictures, but have never seen a black roof on a white Maverick in person. I figure I can remove the wrap if I don't like it. Priced out locally at $250.00

Looks like you are in Texas. Black absorbs heat, white reflects it. I live in California, that is one of the reasons I went with white. If I could find a white bed cover I'd have that as well.

The bed cover will look just fine. As said above. I wouldn’t paint the roof black nor wrap it in black. If you want to break up the black and white, I’d put wide racing stripes from your hood, over top of the roof, skipping the bed cover, and continuing onto the tailgate. Red or blue would look awesome!

BTW, these are not my Maverick not F150.

I have a 2025 XLT with the blackout package. It is the new space white, and it looks great. It is basically the same as what you are doing.

The black appearance package comes with a black roof and I am adding a black bed cover. Looks great!

Also in CA, I would have done a BAP,except for the black roof which defeats the reason for buying white.

Take my advice and have it done in wrap material rather than vinyl at a professional sign shop. As I mentioned, this one isn’t mine, but this one is.

should have had them stamp it in reverse, that way when you hit someone it embosses MAVERICK and not KCIREVAM!

Here's a wrapped one...

Those are raised letters I put on. They’re the same letters as the tailgate, but reduced in size. They have 3M double sided tape. I didn’t want to put them on in reverse.
