Had the Rokblokz on initially given there weren't many other choices in early 2022. I liked that they looked clean and covered up the rear well.

Two things I didn't like: the pricing is high and the hardware was absolute trash. Rusted in two months. I expected better for $150 pieces of plastic and screws.

More specifically for me, I also did not like how low they hung down, while having little give. I take my truck down forest service roads, and chewed them up within 6 months.

Switched to the much cheaper Mabett options and have liked those more because they're two different rubber/plastic pieces and flex more.

I like my Mabett’s. They don’t touch the paint, unlike the OEM ones that DO, and the price was good. Similar to other mud flaps, they don’t fully cover the infamous gap on the driver side rear wheel well, but that’s the truck’s “design issue,” not a mudflap.

I have and recommend the Mabett's. I added a piece to the inside on the left rear to cover up the gap. I used a piece of rubber bed mat that I had left over. Easy to do if you are handy.

If someone gave me the Rocblokz, or sold them at the same price of the Mabett's, I am certain I would be happy with them as well.

+1 for RokBlokz. Have had these on for a year and still going strong. Off-roading has been mainly in Baja soft sand and SoCal trails. Any protection is better than none and all of these are great options.

I used the Mabett's. They are flat and cannot touch the paint. Inexpensive as well. Maybe other brands are a bit better, but I do not want to have to tape the paint or worry about the flap rubbing on the paint.

Any recommendations on the best mud flaps that won’t scratch up the paint?

It's going to hit a lot higher than just the plastic cladding without mudflaps.

Buying Kydex on Amazon and cutting your own. This way you can make sure you cover the area in the rear that others don't.
Rokbolkz is insanely overpriced.
Kydex is very durable and highly flame resistant. That is actually a great material for covering the gaping hole on the rear driver's side quarter panel.

Could you show a pic of how yours turned out?

Don't have my Maverick yet, but I've made a bunch of stuff with Kydex like fenders for my Mountain Bike.
You can heat it, then mold it to the curve of the wheel well. Direct sunlight shouldn't get it hot enough to deform.

Rokblokz, family owned and made in Utah. Love how they look installed
tough material, the sweet spot between rigid and flex, similar to Kydex
easy install
good coverage
no paint damage, no fragile PPF needed

Expensive, at $150 yes, comparable to Weathertech

At least weathertech can somewhat justify the price because it's molded.

Rokblokz if flat sheet and doesn't even bother giving you stainless steel hardware. Come on people bitching about AMD on cars but defending the price of Rokblokz

for me the lack of molding is a distinct plus, no pockets to hold frozen slush.
If the screws rust I'll deal with it, first with rust converter. RB has been good about replacing rusted fasteners and the early (2022ish) flaps were the most infected.
I'm still happy with the product but thanks for your opinion.

I installed the WeatherTech. I liked the simplicity of them. They came with little strips of PPE to protect the paint where they touched it.

Glad you happy with them, only point was it costs more to manufacturer the Weathertechs, there's absolutely no justification for RBs prices.

Love my rokblokz. Didn’t like the ford ones due to potential for scratched paint.

I wonder if these work with the Eiback lowering springs. Will they scrape? I like these just can't believe the price.
