Best Dash Cam recommendations?

The search function here is terrible. Just help the guy out, he is asking a question I would also like an answer to.
Had 2 people try to jump out in front of me recently, sure would help to have a camera in that situation. .Apparently, that is a new deal in this area.

To answer both of you I got a Viofo A119 Mini 2 and I really like it, it's tiny enough to be completely invisible behind the mirror but produces excellent video.
I've since talked a few friends into the same model and no one has had anything bad to say.

Sorry sir, but I already replied with "Wolfbox 900" ...so your Viofo A119 Mini 2 can't possibly be best.
There can only be one!

again, yo're really only limited by your budget & what features you want
in my jeep, I had a blackvue with a rear cam: bought one for my f150 & since I never installed it, will put it in my mav...if it ever gets built.

I'm happy with what my blackvue was able to do & really haven't had the inclination to look at others..but, again, it might be a bit pricey for some folks

I think I bout it from a place called blackboxmycar, which was about $100 less than buying from blackvue

I’m looking into the new Garmin units myself. They seem decent for the money. I am trying to maximize some of my use with a dash cam and it’s the first one that seems easy enough to swap between multiple vehicles. Different use case for sure but that’s where I’ve ended up

I’ve been using a dual lens cam from insta360.com and love how it captures both inside and outside the cab, which is great for my delivery routes. Night quality is solid too, and the app’s been smooth for pulling footage fast when I needed it. Installing it behind the mirror kept things clean without blocking view.

I stuck mine just behind the rearview mirror so it’s hidden but still gets a great view. Tucked the wire along the headliner and down the pillar—super clean install.

Just make sure you went behind the a-pillar airbag otherwise it'll interfere if the airbag activates.
