Soooo...ordered a hybrid XLT on 10/15/21, SIBL, sunroof, soft tonneau cover, Cactus Grey. Have checked into this website daily since then. Received the email from Ford in late June about not getting scheduled and to talk to my dealer about deciding what to do. Before I went to the dealer, I called the Maverick help line yesterday....and I was granted a VIN yesterday with a projected build date of 8/15. My question is: ballpark figure, how long does the process take from a projected build date to delivery in everyone's experience? I will be losing a car in December as my daughter turns 16 and just want to make sure I have something to drive by then! Very pumped to finally have some progress in this ordeal!

Depends on if your build date is moved. My mother ordered one and got hers delivered a little after a month to a month and a half after being built.

The latest possible MY22 build date would be October 21. Add a conservative 6 weeks for shipping and you should have your truck by December 1.

Lariat Hybrid ordered 7/26/21 Rapid Red, First Edition, Lux Pkg, CoPilot 360 - I've had my vin & window sticker since May 31st & since then I've had eleven different push backs on my production dates. Latest information from my dealer is it was built on 7/4/22 but still nothing from Ford nor eta. Don't want to rain on your parade, but keep the faith, hope yours is built on 8/15 & you have a better chance since it is late in the model year. Good luck!!!

Correct if worst case scenario but if built in August or September it would be October delivery. In any event congrats on the progress so far and you should easily make the December timeline.

Your looking at around 2 months (that's what I'm at right now) after your projected build date until you see your Maverick. Though there have been exceptions and some people got them sooner and some even later...

1.5-2 months minimum. Maybe a month if you are lucky. It depends in part on where in the US you are and how it has to go by rail.

I got a 'YOUR VEHICLE HAS BEEN BUILT' email on 7/2. Two hours later I got a 'YOUR VEHICLE IS ON ITS WAY' email that states: 'Our current estimate for delivery to your Ford dealer is between August 6, 2022 and August 12, 2022. So using this information from Ford, I give it a 75% chance of having it before Christmas.

I’m 99 percent confident Ford stands for Freaked ORDering process. However, you should get a vehicle within your designated time frame.

My 22 was built the end of May shipped the begging of June got unloaded in Memphis on ramp Was reloaded on another train moved across town 5 miles unloaded on ramp convoy time changed 5 times up and down still waiting !!! 2 hours from Dealer .
