I forgot they use play money. It does say 715 kilometers, or 444 miles. But still I think this is about 10 over MSRP, even with added tonneau and cp360. I can't price a 22, but 23 prices out base at 24.

Really that shed wouldn’t last 2 years in Texas a strong May/June supercell thunderstorm and its flown into The next county. Don’t think it could handle much snow either.

Canadian here, for reference. My 2023 Lariat has everything but Fx4 and the moonroof (EcoBoost) and its MSRP is $51,040 (CAD). That's a wild markup on that! On Ford.ca base 2023 XLTs are $32,700 (CAD) not sure what options it has but yeah, big markup regardless.

$51,040 CAD -> $38056.89 USD
$32,700 CAD -> $24382.06 USD
(Using current exchange rate of $1 CAD = $0.75 USD)

While we're talking about crazy Canadian markups, I would love to call attention to this one. This is a 2022 Lariat w/ lux and nothing else as far as I can tell. 9,428 km (5858.28 mi). They want $52,900 CAD ($39443.76 USD) for it and that doesn't include the documentation fee of $699 CAD ($521.19 USD) plus any number of other things they add on. That doesn't even include a financing fee.

Autotrader apparently rates that as a "good" price. Yikes.

They get 60-70+ mile an hour winds in Victoria regularly during fall and winter. As for snow, the area had 14"+ this past December. Think it's good enough to hold up in the region it's located in.

People still use Craiglist? There aren't many listed in BC, but the cheapest is a base XL hybrid with 6000 km at $38.6k Canadian.

If your Canadian open faced sheds are that good you would make a healthy profit in Texas. They have those everywhere for oil field tanks car ports. Etc.

Island Ford is whom my order is with, and they are a good dealership. Compared with the only other two who are south of them and owned by the same parent company.
As I live on an island, I also face an extra bump up in price due to living on an island. (A trapped market)
To get a lower price I would have to buy on the mainland, but the travel would kill any savings.
My guess is that it would be similar for people living in Hawaii.

Rain! We have such little snow here, compared to the rest of Canada. Vancouver Island is classified as a temperate rain forest.
