My mother is legally blind, and my daughter is legally blonde, so neither are driving my Mav!If they were to complain. Which one was going to do the driving on the way home?

I have a 5 hour trip planned this month down to West Virginia, my friends sister is getting married, my friend and his parents want to ride with me because I have plenty of room in my sealed bed for cargo they want to take.Anyone able to give me some feedback on the backseat comfort for adults for moderate length drive (say up to 2-3 hours). I am fairly tall and need to push the driver seat back a good bit (if not all the way). Can adults reasonably sit in the backseat for that 2-3 hour time period?
If the seats were adjusted right, my 2012 Mustang had a decent amount of room for 4 people for 1 hour drives. I sat back there a few times and found even at 5'10", my head would be almost against the rear glass. The biggest issue was getting in and out, access was poor and the power seats moved like glaciers. Once you got back there the seats were like cradles, really comfortable.I wouldn't even want to put a toddler in the backseat of my 2005 Mustang. To clean the rear window I had to move the front seats fully forward just to get my feet on the floor board in the rear.
This. I'm 6'2 and don't find the need to be all the way back to drive comfortably. I randomly drive for Lyft in my Maverick and can even afford to move the seat up to give a little extra room if I REALLY need to. Most adults will be alright in the back (see Lyfting) as long as you aren't all the way back, which is likely to be the case.I have long legs and usually have my seat almost all the way back in most cars, so I was expecting it to be really tight behind me.
But in the Maverick the driving position is more upright (kind of like a chair vs a couch?) and I find that I'm comfortable with the seat a little past half way back and as a result there's adequate room in the back behind me for most people.
Maybe you're sliding the seat all the way back out of habit. That's what I used to do in almost all cars but in the Maverick I can raise the seat instead and still be comfortable with it about halfway back. Maybe try that? It feels weird at first but I'm taller than 5' 10" and I have long legs and I'm fine for 5+ hour drives while leaving plenty of room behind me....
My one point of contention is my leg room, I am 5'10" and I wish the Maverick had a bit more room for my legs, even with the seat all the way back I am barely in the comfort zone. Making sure I am not slouching in the seat helps. I wish the pedals were a bit more forward tho.
Thanks for the tip, I am going to give that a shot today, I left the seat at its default height when I bought the truck so I am sure its not maxed out. The seating position, angle and leg room is vastly different than the other 3 vehicles I have owned.Maybe you're sliding the seat all the way back out of habit. I had a friend who is tall and wide in the back seat for a 30 min drive. My husband, also tall, had his seat pulled up, but both guys were fairly uncomfortable. The back seat is great for tween grandkids and small/medium people.Anyone able to give me some feedback on the backseat comfort for adults for moderate length drive (say up to 2-3 hours). My wife is 5'6" she had to move her seat up to allow my son-in-law (6'1") a relatively decent ride. I had my seat about half way and my daughter 5'6" said her ride was comfortable. I tried your method and I noticed when the seat rises up the seat doesn't go straight up, it also moves forward. When I did this it seems to improve leg/foot room in the rear seat, with the seat all the way back. I got 1 1/2 hour drive home from work tonight, I am going to try the new raised seat position out and see if I find it comfortable, if I do I will keep the seat in that position for my upcoming road trip as I sat behind the drive seat and found enough legroom for my 5'10" frame.Maybe you're sliding the seat all the way back out of habit. EDIT: Just went out to check and I can comfortably fit behind my normal seat position.
When I first tested the Maverick I was worried about the lack of thigh support. But I had the seat adjusted low + all the way back like I'm used to in most cars. Raising the seat and moving it up leaves more room behind me and also fixed the thigh support. I'm sitting in a different position than I'm used to (think an office chair instead of a couch) but it works real well and comfort is fine
Nice looking Mustang and yes that 3.7 V6 at 305 Horsepower Was impressive!! They had that engine in the 2011-2014 F-150's IIRC and not sure why they dropped them for the 3.5 in the 2015 and Up Aluminum Body F-150's.If the seats were adjusted right, my 2012 Mustang had a decent amount of room for 4 people for 1 hour drives. That 2012 Mustang was one of the best cars I owned. It got upwards of 32 MPG on the highway when you were easy on it, the V6 had 305 HP running 87 and faster than many of the older V8 Mustang's and it was by far one of the most reliable cars I own. I drove her out to almost 200,000 miles on the original engine/transmission with regular service, biggest issue I had was the water pump failing once and a leak in my A/C system which was fixed for under $400.
It really broke my heart to sell that car for my Maverick but I never drove her during winter, for obvious reasons and the paint was peeling down to the primer and to get a quality paint job on a 14 year old car with that kind of mileage didn't make sense. It was my first car, so it still hurt to let her go.
