Since I have recieved my maverick AWD 4K , I noticed on long trips between 70-75 mph with cruise on I'm getting 29-30 mpg. My combined city/highway on a complete tank is about 25mpg.

Or we could just highlight your Canadian maths in our browser and our internets will show us your mpg.
You're averaging 25.29 mpg right?:p

Technology is amazing. I had no idea Google could do that. I tried the same thing with Bing and all it said was "Why are you still using bing"

What brand of roll up cover? And how well does it fit?
pretty much the cheapest one on eBay. It fits fine. It's not 100% leak free, but would have no problem putting luggage in the back in the rain. I think I can slide it back over the tail gate a little more, I think it is getting a little air under it from between the top of the tail gate and the edge of the cover.

Thanks for info. Looks like you’ve got exact same truck as me. Lariat, lux package, AWD cactus gray.

Didn’t realize until you mentioned it the skirting and bumpers are body color on your Maverick. Mine is black. Is body color bumpers and skirting a factory option or did you have that after purchase.

I have a Lariat lux package, 4x tow and FX 4 offroad. 3000 miles, I get around 26 50-50 highway and city driving, I got 30 - 32 interstate driving at 77 mph across the desert of New Mexico and Arizona. Have been pleased with the mph. I was ready to tow a small trailer and found that the plug for the lights does not all work, Just received the recall on the light hook up on tow package.

I get about the same MPG on my XLT 4K. About 30-31 straight highway, and 26 mpg mixed. I'm very happy overall

Sounds like a 1-2 mpg difference. installing wider tires will affect gas mileage also. I didn't get the tow pkg or FX4 because I wanted max mpg and may never even tow. BUT one thing to consider is that the tow pkg should definitely add to the resale value (if you go that route) as it will make it more desirable to potential buyers. Also the 4k gearing makes it about a 1/2 sec quicker 0-60.

In the end I got the 4K tow group for the axle ratio, heavier duty cooling, and trans cooler. I will never tow anything with electric brakes, and very rarely tow a trailer at all. I am running 245-55R18s on custom wheels. I have not noticed any difference compared to the stock 17" wheels it came with. It does accelerate pretty zippy though.

Looking to get some mileage numbers on the AWD package with 4K tow package VS the AWD without it. Please no numbers needed from hybrids as this is not what I am ordering.

I have an AWD with 4 K tow package on order. I concidered it mostly for the bigger radiator, and auxiliary trans cooler. The differentials are a different gear ratio than the regular AWD.

If the highway MPGs are pretty drastically different I may drop the 4K tow package before this thing gets issued a vin#

What numbers are you guys n gals getting with either ?

Thanks
Matt
I have a 22, EB, 4k, FX, I get 24+ combined and 31+ highway. All stock parts.

How are those 245/55 r18 on your mav? Any rubs? I’m running the stock 225/60 r18 Michelins and been wanting to change them out and had researched tire size the 245/55 r18 is the same overall size as the 225/60 r18 except for the width being about 3/4 inch wider.
