Does anybody know if the Maverick offers the auto-tilt feature when the truck is placed in reverse?

I've not heard of this, please explain?Does anybody know if the Maverick offers the auto-tilt feature when the truck is placed in reverse?
I'd imagine the motors in the auto-tilt ones cost more since they operate far more often. Just a guess though.I run an auto body shop and move alot of cars around each day. I personally can't stand when cars have this feature enabled. I find people who started driving with this feature get used to and like it. To each there own, glad I don't have to disable this when my Maverick arrives. On the flip side if one likes this I don't know why manufacturers don't have a setting to enable this.
Feel the same. Hate this feature. I want to use my mirror to see behind me, not see the groundI run an auto body shop and move alot of cars around each day. Our 2014 GMC Acadia Denali has this feature.I've not heard of this, please explain?
Thank you. From what you've described, I don't see how that would help in backing up (for me). But maybe I'm just too old school; rearview mirror usage, side mirrors without adjusting down and head turned over shoulder. I even have a hard time using the rear camera for backing up.Our 2014 GMC Acadia Denali has this feature.
Suffice it to say when you put the vehicle in reverse the side mirrors tilt down. Presumably to help you gain a better view when backing up. When you put the vehicle into drive the mirrors return to there original set position.
Despite the rear camera mandate some still use it. I guess it's a hold over from days gone by. Thankfully most manufacturers allow you to disable this feature.I knew luxury cars had this feature some (20?) years ago, didn't know some still do. Not sure why it's needed since rear cameras have come into use.
So My Honda Ridgeline has the Auto-tilt mirror on the passenger side so that when you put the transmission in reverse, the mirror tilts down towards the ground so you can see the curb and park your car without scraping the wheels against the curb.I've not heard of this, please explain?
I just hit the curb and know I have to adjust. So My Honda Ridgeline has the Auto-tilt mirror on the passenger side so that when you put the transmission in reverse, the mirror tilts down towards the ground so you can see the curb and park your car without scraping the wheels against the curb.
