My 2024 XL Hybrid Maverick has about 7,000 miles with no issue, except for the occasional audio system speaker glitch (a total of 3). On a few occasions when I turn on the audio system I cannot hear what I am try to listen to, whether that is radio, USB music, or phone calls.
I have tried to turn off and on the audio system with no luck. The only way I have fixed the issue is by turning off the engine for a while and coming back later. Yesterday this happened again and I was able to record the sound that happen when I adjust the volume. It kind of sounds like some form of Star Wars laser blaster sound (see attached video).
I normally listen to music with in to 10-15 sound level. I don’t normally care for the bass so the is normally set in the negatives.
Has anyone seen or heard of issues like this? I am afraid to take this in to the dealership since they will not be able to reproduce the issue.
