Squeaking on acceleration and up hills, sounds like drivetrain possibly?

I'm trying not to jump to what I think is the obvious issue here (CVT axles). To those who have had that issue, was this the symptom?

Every morning when I go to work, I have to climb a pretty big mountain and the whole way up the mountain (~10% grade for 5 miles) I hear this squeaking. I thought it must be my stuff rattling around or something. But then, I noticed when taking off from stop signs I hear the same squeak. This is repeatable.
