I guess it's not smart to buy the first year of a new vehicle. Strange things happen - including more than 10 recalls on my 2022 XLT
But these still happen:
I walk away and the driver door locks. Only the driver door. No, I do not hit the button by mistake. Keys in or not - still only the driver door locks. Luckily I can get in through the passenger door or with the keypad, but weird and frustrating.
Phone calls connect but neither party can hear the other until the second try. This always happens. My wife knows to call twice, but frustrating for other callers.
Any ideas?

My best suggestion would be to change the title of the thread to give a brief summary of your question. It's more likely to find a person with an answer than "artificial stupidity".

I didn't think I was hitting the button buy mistake either but then I caught myself. It's too easy to do. But, I'm resigned to going in thru the rear passenger door or using the key fob once in a great while. I've had only one recall that wasn't giving me any problem on my '24.

I thought "Artificial Stupidity" was a great title and curiosity made me open it just to find out what was up. I have not had that issue yet but I have had a few occasions when answering a call that I could not hear the person on the other side but they could hear me. It happens much less now that I am on Verizon's network. As far as door locking goes, I have accidentally hit the lock sensor on the outer door handle but it locks all four doors, what is more common is the pass side exterior handle lock/unlock function doesn't work.

I will have you know that my stupidity is real and not artificial. As for the phone I've only had two calls in almost 10 months of ownership, both times the phone rang, I answered it and I said hello and there was no response, I did have to say hello a couple times in order for them to hear me and start talking. I don't know if I said hello too quickly, or there is a glitch and you are experiencing it worse than I did because they couldn't hear you at all.

The only way to only lock the driver door is to push the manual lock lever, not the electric lock button. All other methods (lock button on door, fob, automatic locking) lock all doors.

RE: You walk away and only the driver's door locks - do you actually hear the power lock mechanism activate? If not, and others have experienced this, it is easy to hit the lock lever located above the door release. I do it myself. As I pull on the door release my hand rolls to the left and engages the lock for the driver's door which is right above the release.

As for your phones, if you haven't powered them down completely, then on, sometimes that resets them and the bluetooth connectivity to your Mav.

Wife had the phone problem with her 2021 Edge. Various components were changed and the problem became intermittent. Never really solved, but better.

Watch the state of your 12v, that is often one of the first signs of the Maverick's "battery saver".

Thanks for the info, Ford has checked it and said the battery is fine but if I don't take her for a fairly long drive, thgats when it malfunctions.

It's not a malfunction actually.

It's a battery saver feature - cut down on sensors being enabled that use power if the battery reads too low. Drive door left enabled for entry.

You may or may not have noticed interior lights turning off sooner and sooner. From posts, pretty sure that happens before the door sensor disables.

Eventually, if you use Fordpass app for potential remote start or looking at stats - it may inform you of the battery save aspect, or that the truck has gone into deep sleep mode to really conserve battery so you can start it next time.

During all of those things the battery will likely test "good enough" as long as truck starts - so don't waste your time with dealer, nothing is going to happen yet. Unless you have a special dealer.

Get a decent jump back for the day it's not starting. Or hope the non-start day lands on a day you have time and can call the dealer to deal with it. Then it may test bad and you'll get a new warranty battery.

Oh - don't let the dealer get by with the hogwash drive more/longer. Doesn't matter on the hybrid. You just happen to be at the cusp if it making a difference.
Soon you won't be, then it'll take a long road trip to go over that line. Then that won't matter.
You can read all about in many threads if desiring knowledge on it.
(hmmm, I was going to reference the Similar threads box below - but it's not showing right now)

🫵 You can buy hogwash by the gallon nowadays.
It's still free at auto dealerships along with manure 👍

This right here is the answer. So many people are doing this and thinking it is a problem with the truck when it is actually operator error.
