Yes, hybrids. Ordered a first edition & lariat considering all of the "unknowns" (chips, constraints.etc) last June. Thought was to keep the first one that came in. First Edition delivered Feb 9th. The "Mac" is a replacement for my 02 F150. Have put about 400 miles on it and love it. Wife thinking about keeping the Lariat, but her 17 Explorer Platinum is a really nice ride.

I was foolin around and thought this would look good on the tail gate...minus the background.

Maybe with some with just the black area cut out so it doesn't show unless at the correct angle??

Hey MTC!

Finally got the Maverick set up the way I want it. Can't wait to add more once my bank account recovers, but it's all ready for camping this summer and just wanted to share some photos. I'll be posting more photos as well as a discount code for the rack on my Instagram @maverickfx4 this week if you're interested, but here are some details in the meantime:

Rack: Xtrusion Overland XTR1, 13"
Tent: ROAM Vagabond Lite
Lift: 2" from Ford Ranger Lifts
Tires: Falken Wildpeak ATW3, 245/65/17

Gotta give a special shoutout to the guys at Xtrusion Overland for the support while we were trying to get everything set up. Love the rack so far and we can run our bed cover (Ford hard roll-up, basically re-branded BAK Revolver X4) with their wide brackets and some trimming of the rails.

Mine is the Area 51 Lariat FE. I had the FE decals removed because they started to come off in the car wash. I just had the front windows tinted to match the back. I think it looks fantastic without the decals and with the front tint

I'm glad I opted to not go with the FE. I'm not a fan of decals to begin with, and after reading about so many decals coming off easily it seems to have been the right decision. I just wish they had offered black rims on Hybrids though. Your ride DOES look sharper anyways. Congrats!

Good day everyone.

I picked up Romi last week on Wednesday. Finally got to drive in 10 cm of snow today. Living in Alberta, I needed proper tires. I went with GENERAL ALTIMAX ARCTIC 12 STUDDED BSW STUDDED tires on American Racing Rims. I thought these looked closest to my FX4 rims. I went with these since they worked so well on my wife's Forester. They work well on the truck but the Maverick is lacking sound proofing. Didn't realize how loud they are.

I also was concerned about paint chipping so I had PPF put on the front. I really like the colour. It is darker than I thought it would be which is nice. To break up all that blue I had the roof wrapped in black and three strips on the hood following the natural lines.

Still looking to get a tonneau cover and maybe a bull bar. Not sure if that's the name, but push bar that would attach to the tow hooks. Maybe mount fog lights on that.

I went in looking for a ranger but the Remor was about $54,000 CAD. They had an EB in the showroom that they got that day. Decided to get a Maverick. I went elsewhere for a better deal though.

MRSP, $750 off, free spray in bed liner, and $2,500 trade in for a 2013 Hyundai Elantra that couldn't pass Alberta safety inspection to get registered (brought in from Ontario).

It is not a Subaru. Not even close. But better than Hyundai.

By the way, this is a dealer unit they put in my name because mine wasn't being serialized. My ordered unit got serialized two weeks ago. It should be in late April. Thinking of having that one sent to NS instead of here for my father. They have an old FRT wheel drive Santa Fe. My dad's a retired firefighter. He deserves better.

So I just picked mine up last night. It is an amazing color in person for sure. One thing folks aren't really mentioning is that it is a non-metallic(flat) color. It has a real retro classic Bronco/FJ Cruiser feel to it. It makes me want to try some off-white accents with it like the Bronco Sport uses in the back.
