Anyone tried towing a car with a hybrid mav?

You could probably tow it with a Honda fit, but you're outside what the manufacturer expects.

I guess you just hope nothing happens, and no one you hit chooses to go after you for gross negligence for towing overweight.

It isn't a power problem, old Fords with the 6-cylinder engines made about 150 hp, had no problem towing.

Why do people want to drive dangerously and exceed manufacturer's towing limits? There are also more considerations than the weight of what you are towing. Ford publishes a detailed towing guide with the different weight restrictions.

Update. Dealer told me I either upgrade to a 2024 or cancel. I guessed but at this point they’re gonna want 4k over original price of 20k from the 2022s when i originally wanted the car. I’m kinda pissed off by this whole Maverick fiasco and decided I’m just gonna save up a lil more and order a diesel Colorado
