Anyone order sunroof? Worth it?

Had a moonroof on my 2004 Ford Expedition... hardly ever used it. I really got mad when it leaked in 2012. Fixed the leak,but not getting any vehicle with a sunroof.

More a personal preference thing.

I ordered a sunroof on mine, always felt its a nice feature to have and it will be my first new vehicle with one. My 73 bug has a sunroof and its fantastic so I want it in my Mav too.

I'm not concerned about headroom, I hear its not that big of a difference. Sunroof maintenance never bothered me just make sure drain channels are clear and your normally fine in regards to possible leaks.

Does anyone here order or have a sunroof in your maverick? Thinking to change my order and add a sunroof, is really worth it?

I actually enjoy this sunroof a lot. My last vehicle didn’t have one so having one again is great!

I ordered with along with manual rear sliding window, as cracking the roof and opening the back window allows for great air flow during nice days.

Best way to clear the farts without opening the side windows.

Had thought about adding one to my Ranger, but have yet
to go about checking! Ordered one with new Maverick. Figure I can
tilt it, during the day, while undergoing dialysis, to keep it somewhat
cool during the day. Folks Kia has one, they don't use it, but don't remember it's there!
I've used it a couple of times. Nice and quiet at highway speeds.
First truck that I can buy new, so I'm gonna get the features I want!!

Seems that people in cooler states really enjoy them. Here in Central Texas its hot 9 months out of the year so it's hard to put it to use. But, in the spring and fall it's nice and they do dress the truck up. I'm going to order a Maverick this week but I'm on the fence with the sunroof deal.

I ordered an XL with one. I really enjoyed it on a previous vehicle that had it. Not that expensive of an option and it helps keep fresh air flowing.

Ordered mine with it. Although I may go back and add the first edition as that has the tonneau cover. Sunroof and tonneau a la cart is about the price of first edition so thinking I may just do that

It was in one of the packages I ordered, so was the ridiculously small sliding rear window i have had them on most of mine and wifes cars but I don't use it that much.

I ordered the sunroof as well. Had it on a little Jetta and I loved it. I just like that open feeling of light coming into the cabin, especially during the gloomy rainy days.

To mee a sunroof is a must and not negotiable.. i have a jeep wrangler atm, and i had a miata in the past…so i know what is like not having open experience.

maybe im a bit claustrophobic.

I use my wife's car daily and it doesn't have any sunroof..

after few days without sunroof, you like your sunroof even more…. I only wished that maverick had a tilt moonroof option instead of a basic sunroof…. A tilt moonroof is a sunroof that has a glass section that opens up goes on top of the non moving glass section.. maverick doesn't have have that unfortunately.

Thanks, guys!! I went to my dealer and added a sunroof to my maverick!! I have the A/Z plan and got it for 700 so I was not a brainer really!! so my built is Hybrid XLT lux, 360, rear window, moonroof , cactus gray!!
