So I was glancing at Ford's recall page for my truck to see if I needed 24C01/24V140 (I do), and I noticed this under Customer Satisfaction Programs:
Ford Maverick Anyone else see this? "Customer Satisfaction Programs: Mobile hot spot credit 23L05" Screenshot 2024-03-12 at 5.09.53 PM

I assume this has to do with the fact that my truck doesn't have the hot spot early Mavericks did, but I haven't seen any other details about this

Looking at your signature our builds are almost identical and we got our Mavericks like a week apart, so probably everything that applies to my truck applies to yours. 😆

Isn't that the $20 credit on the window sticker or is that something different?
That's why I'm confused, because this didn't used to show up on the recall tracker. Like it just showed up recently.

I saw this too for my Maverick Hybrid. I reached out to Ford support. They said that campaign 23L05 is:

"Due to a microchip shortage, your vehicle was produced without the Mobile Hot Spot feature. Ford will refund $20 to the original vehicle purchaser. This offer will be in effect until 3/31/2025, regardless of mileage."

"Please visit fordownershipcare.com to participate in the program."

I went to the URL and it wanted a PIN. When I requested one, it said they would send me a letter with the PIN. They didn't take my name, address, or anything other than my VIN. I suppose that's how they handle "original owner" stuff.

I went to the URL and it wanted a PIN. When I requested one, it said they would send me a letter with the PIN. They didn't take my name, address, or anything other than my VIN. I suppose that's how they handle "original owner" stuff.
I went to that URL a few days ago and it said there was nothing applicable for my Maverick (or some such). I went again yesterday and it said they would send the PIN letter.

The "fordownershipcare.com" URL works for Canada.

(I don't care about the hotspot or the money – just interested in the process.)
