Anyone else having this Android Auto Issue?

I bought the MA01 to try it out on my current vehicle...damn thing was setting off my alarm, haha. Promptly returned it. I might buy one when the Maverick comes, but I'll probably go with the AAWireless one. Idk yet.

Android has been cranking out a lot of new builds for android auto lately including some beta builds. do you know what version you on? check with apk Mirror Im on 10.4 and its been pretty solid on wireless

Absolutely no idea. I noticed it never turned off after shutting the vehicle down, then out of the blue it sets my alarm off, I turn it off, then not 5 minutes later it goes off again. Weirdest fricken thing I ever noticed. Before it went off again I had both of my key fobs and I was looking at them when it went off again, so I ruled those out. The only thing that changed that day was plugging that dongle into the car and pairing it with my phone... crazy.

Try a better quality cable.

Bought a genuine Samsung usb-c to Usb-c and my problems just like yours went away for good. The USB-a just fits so loose, no wonder it cuts in and out.

I guess I should have mentioned, I have always used a USB-C to USB-C and I believe it was one that came with my Samsung phone last year.

Still have issues occasionally, from the timing I mentioned earlier.

My issue with the ANdriod Auto is that I have trouble with SONGs on the Ford interface....if I have a USB drive with thousands of songs on it I need it to be active an playing before Android connects...otherwise it interfers and doesn't let me easily get to SONGS to play them from a secondary USB connection.

Most times when I get in the truck, start it up and then connect my phone for Android Auto, nothing happens. I have to disconnect the phone and re-connect it to get it to work (sometimes twice). Anyone else with this problem? Any solutions? I've searched dozens of other posts, but could find nothing.

I've read Ford doesn't follow up real well to forum stuff. I'd talk with dealer or read other comments.

Has anyone had this happen: Used the bluetooth for audio and then connected Android Auto and when I played music, there was no sound output no matter volume level, disconnected cable and bluetooth worked fine
