It's not just Android, my Apple does it too with CarPlay. Listening to a podcast and the whole thing just disconnects. This morning, got in the car, pressed the audio button and FM comes on just blaring, and unable to turn it down immediately. Eventually, the infotainment system got through it's lag in about 2 minutes and then functioned properly.I get it that this radio sucks in general but Is this a phone problem with either Apple IOS or Android version compatibility? It seems like more Android users are having problems with this unit glitching and locking up or am I mistaken?
I suspect it's either the bluetooth, or the fact that the infotainment system is communicating with the vehicle/modem that causes the lag.
Disconnects are very common. I've noticed bumps can sometimes cause disconnects and it seems as though the USB connector (Vehicle side) has some play to it. Other times it just disconnects because it feels like disconnecting. It truly is my BIGGEST complaint with the Maverick!
