Any rubbing issues with larger tires on the Lariat?

I'm thinking of upgrading my Michelin Primacy tires from 245/65R17 to 245/75R17. I'm thinking the only issue of concern would be rubbing and a slightly incorrect mph reading. I believe the mpg decrease would be inconsequential. My only reason is to fill up the wheel well a little bit and to give the truck a more solid stance, but I don't want to compromise function for cosmetics. BTW, I don't haul loads that would weigh the body down.

No rubbing issues to report with 245/65R17 or 255/50R20. Yesterday, I sold the 2003 Silverado with the 235/75R17 tires that I mistakenly bought for my Maverick in the bed for an extra $500. Today we meet after 9 to transfer the title.

There's plenty of other issues with the Maverick mostly bugged software glitches, some rather frightening and others are just concerning. Some weird unexplainable noises from the RDU. The dealership service writer confided in me that they only had one tech that could work on it and he had resigned with my ticket open. I picked up my truck and brought it home.

To be honest, I'm considering trading for an Equinox RS EV AWD and charging it off my solar array.

I was looking at gettin 16 inch rims and mounting 205/85R16 tires/wheels to fill up my wheel well. I would get 6 ply tire and run them at45PSI. This would increase highway economy by about 2-3 MPGs. I would get about a 1.57 inches lift. When my shocks are gone I plan to lower the truck 2 inches front and 3 inches rear. That should add 1 MPG highway. city mileage will stay the same. I have a hybrid 2024. I get 50+ MPGS summer and 30+ MPGs cold winter.

245/65R17 Kenda Klever AT2-- No rubbing at all lock to lock an light offroad. They fill in the Tremor stock lift very well. The 245/70's -75's will rub for sure or very close to it on the road snow an mud lock to lock turns large bumps etc.

That’s what I was afraid of. Thanks for the info. Don’t get me wrong. I’m ok with the Michelins. No snow in my locale and I still have several thousand miles on the tires. Just looking ahead while not under pressure.

16" rims will not clear the brakes.

The maximum diameter that will fit without rubbing is 30.5" with the correct factory wheel offset.
The 245/75R17 won't clear while turning at 31.5" diameter.
