I have had it activate, twice... Fortunately, it was under less severe circumstances..

Welllll the driver isn't the owner of the car, the owner is "incarcerated" in the county jail, but my insurance rep. found the owner has an accout with the same company as me, but wasn't sure if it was up to date yet so time will tell.

The "Driver" was tooo distracted and did not EVEN try to brake...

By the point it went off i was already doing what it would have done so not sure if it did anything, I did have it go off before when a car pulled out infront of me, 90 degrees across my lane when they were leaving walmart but I was never going to hit them so it only hit the brakes alittle.

How soon the accident avoidance system activates, depends upon how sensitive you have it set.
I have mine set at MAX sensitivity.
It gives me plenty of reaction time, before I get knee deep in crap.

Welp my 24 Maverick awd 4k bap 12k miles is done for, rearended on the highway on the way to the packers game. hopefully I can get the aftermarket parts off of it before the insurance takes ownership of the truck.

I have the front and rear dash cam video but it won't let me uploaded it here, says it's not a video as expected
