Doing some testing on CLD and then slowly getting the supplies I need for for decoupling and doing a tiny bit of soundproofing.

Here is some fibermat 25 on the left and some mega zorbe on the right. I used some stuff called ciamat on my a pillars as well. Just testing a lot of stuff is all, been busy at work as well sadly

No not yet, that's gonna be the last thing I build most likely, I still wanna get the 5.25 coaxials in the rear and change out my dsp to a helix or mosconi. I'm still trying to figure out what subwoofer I'm going with as well.

Alpine RS 10. Brand new... haven't even seen any reviews yet. 3.25" mounting depth, 20mm xmax.

Not aware of anything else like that on the market. JL TW10 has 10mm, Kicker L7 10" has 9mm.

It's what I'd use if I did a single 10" in a fiberglass enclosure. If I were to melt my R2 8" with 500w (rated 350, heh) I'd do it now, otherwise, I'll just have to live without.

I've actually been thinking about that one, but the price kinda scares me for just a subwoofer if it was 400 hell yeah, but at 600 just kinda out of my price range I'm wanting to spend.

I was scheming to put one in the swing gate of my wife's Bronco but then I realized that when she rides with me she literally complains every time the volume is above 10.

Still, the thought was valid. In a Maverick, you can shoehorn in a 10" but really high end 10s typically need more volume and more mounting depth than you can get without cutting metal.

I saw that alpine the other day on crutchfield but $600 that’s pretty steep! You can get a JL tw1 or even the tw3 for cheaper

JL 10TW3 is somewhat comparable and it's 450 which is a lot less than 600.

It's because it's honestly a one of a kind subwoofer, with that xmax and that shallow for mounting as well as being able to take that much power. I can see why it's that expensive

Just in case anyone loves amp porn, here are some pictures of mine when upgraded.
It has upgraded Burr-Brown OP-Amps, along with upgraded Rubycon capacitors

Got some 6.5" coaxials that I will be trying to test fit sometime soon in the rear, which will be very interesting if I will be able to fit, but I will be taking the mounting area off the trim and mounting them to the metal if I am able to fit them.
Also got some spare components for front just because I like to change things out and do testing, might just make them some house speakers or something.

Here are the components, better then the focal flax but not as good as the new kx3 in my opinion (my buddy thinks they are better then both) they are pretty dang heavy lol
