Yes sir, this is Baltic birch so it's also won't absorb moisture, but to be on the even more safe side it also got sealed to be 1000% safe. I almost went with HDPL but just liked the way Baltic birch looked with the crystal cone

I have a few other questions but don’t want to hit you with them all in this post lol.Some things happened over Thanksgiving break lol will be adding a third amp in the future when the subs go in. When subs go in, I will be doing a 5 1/4 in the rear, just didn't have time
I don't yet, but I will when I rip out all the mega zorbe around Christmas time. I don't have crossovers either as I am running active with the focal DSP. I don't mind questions either so have at them
What is active? One of the questions I was going to ask what how you wired your crossovers lol. When I install my 6.5” components I was thinking of using the metra harness that plugs into the factory speaker harness then put the wires from that into the cross over then run my own wire to the 6.5 and then run a wire through the boot and directly to the tweeter that I will mount in the factory dash location.
Active is where you have a DSP that you can go in and make a lot more custom adjustments, and also one of my favorite features on it is time alignment.
Just realized I missed this lol. Thanks for the pics! What mounts have other people used? Is that the threaded screw that sticks out of the rear wall? Also for your tweeters how did you mount them in the factory location? Did they just fit right in or have to be modified?We used 1/2" birch for the amp rack as well. And we were gonna use the mounts already there like a few have but I just didn't have the depth I wanted with the 3 amps and dsp back there. So we cut that part off on the passenger side and attached at higher points. If you look on the photos at each end you'll see two bolts on each side. And then on top of that, we epoxied areas as well so nothing will come lose
I noticed most used the threaded screw holes on the passenger side metal piece that sticks out. I cut off the piece in blue, and made a bracket to bolt them on the one in red which has one on both sides.
I am using the focal fsp8 dsp, which I will soon be getting a musway tune 12 dsp to replace mine for more channels
I’m not too familiar with dsp or line output converters but I was looking to do a LC7i to run my alpine mrp500 and mrp-f300 amps from my old truck. Are you familiar with the audio control stuff? If so would the lc7i work? Also I was looking into the plugnplaykits.com harness that includes the lc71. Here’s a pic of the setup.
I have used a lc7i in the past and I wasn't a huge fan compared to a dsp.
